Hii 🫶🏼 I’m Emily Claxton a Down-to-earth Red dreadhead 🌿and 26-year-old stay-at-home mum of two 👦🏼👧🏼newly married, and the sole creator behind every piece you’ll find in this shop.

Before Claxton Creations, I spent seven years working in Mental health nursing & medicine in the NHS.

When I stepped back to be at home with my children, I unfortunately suffered with postpartum depression after the birth of my second child and I needed an escape from the madness during that dark time in my life.

I needed something that was mine. Something creative. Something that let me pour that same care and intention into something I truly loved.

That something became Claxton Creations GB.

This slogan is more meaningful than anything, I suffered from Postpartum depression after my second child. I needed an escape from the madness, I was in a ‘dark place’ when I created Claxton Creations GB, but this brand was formed from taking the good out of a very difficult dark time I was having.🫶🏼

So this is why everything I create is ‘handmade with heart & a hint of dark’🖤
