Meet Emily

Hi, I'm Emily — a 26-year-old stay-at-home mum of two, newly married, and the sole creator behind every piece you'll find in this shop.

Before Claxton Creations, I spent seven years working in the NHS. It was meaningful, demanding work — and it taught me the value of care, precision, and showing up for people. When I stepped back to be at home with my children, I needed something that was mine. Something creative. Something that let me pour that same care and intention into something I truly loved.

That something became Claxton Creations GB.

The Brand

Claxton Creations is a gothic and horror-inspired apparel brand for those who find beauty in the darker side of life. Whether you're drawn to the eerie, the macabre, or simply the aesthetic of the night — you'll find a home here.

Every piece is handmade by me, in my home, with genuine care and attention to detail. No mass production. No cutting corners. Just thoughtful, quality craftsmanship made to be worn and loved.

This slogan is more meaningful than anything, I suffered from Postpartum depression after my second child. I needed an escape from the madness, I was in a ‘dark place’ when I created Claxton Creations GB, but this brand was formed from taking the good out of a very difficult time I was having. So this is why everything I create is ‘handmade with heart & a hint of dark’🖤 

The Handmade Process

Every item in the shop starts as an idea — often inspired by gothic literature, horror films, folklore, or the quiet beauty of the dark and unusual. From there, I design, cut, and craft each piece by hand.

Because everything is made to order or in small batches, you're never getting something off a conveyor belt. You're getting something made with intention — a piece that carries a little bit of the story behind this brand.

This also means I take quality seriously. If it doesn't meet my standard, it doesn't leave my hands.
